The iPad isn’t simply a laptop replacement. No, I think that’s setting the bar too low. It replaces everything. With the iPad and the Apple Pencil, it replaces notebooks and sketch pads. With Apple Books, it replaces e-readers and even regular books (although I will always buy real books). It even replaces my TV in the bedroom; laying in bed, I’d rather pull up a video on the iPad instead of fumbling for the remote. I said it in my comparison between the iPad and MacBook, and I’ll say it again here: the iPad is versatile in a way that no laptop could ever dream to be.
