Personally, without an Apple TV I wouldn’t have a homekit hub and non of my smart home accessories would function. I wouldn’t have a games console plugged into the TV used with a PS4 controller and as for the remote I don’t know if all tv remotes let you do this but my Tv is a bog standard LG and I can completely control the Apple TV with that remote.

I for one am looking forward to a spec bump at some point 👍
