I feel the file handling comes down to comfort mostly. But both these issues are symptoms of trying to make iOS work the way you work on a traditional computer. The iPad isn’t designed with the magic keyboard and trackpad in mind, they are afterthoughts Apple is now trying to awkwardly blend into iOS. It was designed with a touchscreen keyboard and interface. Which works wonderfully in my experience. The iPad was never meant to allow multitasking, it is a capitulation to those who still believe in that myth, instead of embracing the constraint of single-tasking.

Apple are proving to be not great stewards of the iPad. As they bow to pressure from those who want to make the iPad into the same familiar laptop they have used for years rather than embrace it’s new ideas and improvements and adapt themselves to reap the benefits.
